I began this painting with the purpose of creating a colorful, geometric abstract. But somehow, the phrase "Jump the Shark" began coming through. So I went with it. You may or may not see all of it, but Fonzie must have been on my mind. 
 As a 70's kid, the highlight of my week was Tuesday nights at 7 when I could watch the adventures of Richie and the gang on Happy Days. And that fateful night where Fonzie jumped the shark on skis?..while wearing his leather jacket?.....Some say that was a mistake on the show's part. But I will tell you that my 10-year-old self was absolutely RIVETED!
In this piece, I went all out with color and energy, and I love it!
