I started humming this tune by King Harvest while I was painting these big pinky-orangey blooms. It took me a bit, but I figured why. The song says, "everybody's feelin' warm and right," but as one of my many misunderstood lyrics, I thought it was "feelin' warm and bright."
But that is how I felt about these blooms. They are warm and bright, as if someone plugged them in against a night sky. And with all of those lines moving around the canvas, well...it seemed like the only title to me. I LOVED painting this.
