When I was painting this piece, I was singing a duet with Jackson Browne, We were singing the lyric, "...she wasn't much good at stickin' around, but, that girl could sing." What a brilliant songwriter he is.
This teal tulip is clearly the star of the show in this piece. She is singing with color. Those of us who love tulips know that they are not good at sticking around either. But this one is captured on the canvas for our viewing pleasure. Yay!
